Adelaide Simpson-Weatherburn M.S. CCC-SLP
Adelaide completed her Master’s degree in
Speech-Language Pathology at NOVA Southeastern University of Ft. Lauderdale, FL in 1994. She received a bachelor’s in Business Administration from Valdosta State University in Valdosta, GA in 1987. After working in Miami, Fl, with Dade County Public Schools in the fourth largest center school in the U.S., she was offered a therapy position in Santa Fe, NM, and never left the beautiful Southwest. She began. Rainbow Road Therapies after the births of her sons, John and Will, to offer private speech-language services to her beloved citizens in Las Vegas, New Mexico, and surrounding communities.
Adelaide has dedicated her career to working with children, adolescents, and adults. Her career has spanned populations that include Early Childhood Intervention, Adults with Developmental Disabilities, Schools, Long Term Care, and Acute Care. Special interests include autism spectrum, dyslexia, and complex communication needs.
Adelaide has continued to fill her therapy bag with specialized trainings that include Floortime, PROMPT, and Hanen parent training, to name a few.
She enjoys spending time traveling with her husband, Steve, and two sons John and Will. She enjoys Southwest gardening and photography.
